My dear friends.. for everyone that still wants to take a picture of “self portrait of a dreamer” on this mesmerizing location in #amsterdam ✨ NOW is your chance! We will start removing the sculpture coming Thursday the 30th of August.. otherwise you will have to come to #shanghai 🤗
The bronze sculpture “Happily Ever After” is meant to pose the question “When is enough, enough?” in a time of overconsumption on all fronts: social media, food, fame, money.
The sculpure depicts a fat crocodile as the top of the food-chain predator, that has eaten so much until his feet cannot even touch the ground.
He lost all sense of being grounded and, while the feast continues, one can ask the question: "now that he seemingly has everything he wanted, is he truly happy?"
I have just released a new small bronze sculpture called “Elements of Love” it is part of my larger series in the “elements” range and explores the concept of condensing large life events and desires into simple recognizable icon.. Life, Love, Death, consumerism.. let me know what you think and maybe tag an art lover ❤️🤗 (link in bio) #contemporaryart#sculpture

I have been experimenting for over a year on how to make the perfect gold paint.. gold is not just a colour.. for me it’s filled with emotion.. I was looking for a certain reflective property to match the feeling of 22karat gold-leaf that has been used throughout history as the “colour of the gods”🍂... I think we got it now.. 💙
