I am thrilled to finally show you a 3d render of the bronze sculpture my team and I have been working on for the past 1.5 years. "Valley of the Kings" is by far the most detailed artwork we have created thus far. The sculpture is built up out of 2474 separate elements. We wanted to make sure all of the Egyptian hieroglyphs were accurate to the original "book of the dead" , therefore we worked closely with a professor of Egyptology to make sure we got everything right. The Book of the Dead consists of a number of magic spells intended to assist a dead person's journey through the underworld and into the afterlife. It’s been written by many priests over a period of a 1,000 years. My new sculpture is a fusion of an astronaut combined with the mask of Tutankhamun. The original mask is one of the best-known works of art in the world and a prominent symbol of ancient Egypt. It was discovered in the "Valley of the Kings" in November 1922, My concept to create a fusion between the "ancient and the future" is based on the hypothesis of "Ancient astronauts". That intelligent extraterrestrial beings visited Earth and made contact with humans in prehistoric times. Proponents suggest that this contact influenced the development of modern cultures, technologies, religions, and human biology and that advanced technologies were brought to Earth by ancient astronauts. And the confirmed fact that the dagger entombed alongside the mummy of Tutankhamun was made with iron that came from a meteorite enhances the "magic" surrounding this hypothesis. The sculpture will be made out of bronze and first released in two sizes 60cm tall and 80 cm tall. for info please mail to: info@josephklibansky.com #tutankhamun #astronautart #elonmusk #sculpture #josephklibansky #spacex #nft
