I just wanted to share some images of the creation process of this insane jewelry piece.
.. If you swipe to picture nr 3 you will see the first drawing I made of Juan Luis’s (Maluma) dog named Buda in a space suit. this to show the concept of a “space dog” I had in my head but actually used in one of my paintings “Spacious City” back in 2009

Picture nr 4 was one we used as reference to make the 3D clay model, You can see the 3D rotating model in slide nr7

The sculpting proces took around 1 month, I really wanted to capture all my space suit elements on to the Dog’s suit.

If you look at picture nr 9 you can see one of the first 3D prints I made to see what size we wanted to do for the final jewelry piece

After that the meticulous gold casting and diamond setting started, this took roughly 3 months.
Picture nr 10 I really love..At the very last moment we decided to add pink gemstones as the eyes.

Looking at how cool the piece turned out, I definitely want to make a bronze sculpture of this piece 🔥
