For my last exhibition in Guangzhou, China we created a large “white jungle” room for visitors to walk through.
We sourced hundreds of silk plants en painted them white by hand to get this effect.. to create the feeling of infinity we covered all the walls with acrylic mirrors

I am pretty excited to announce that I’m working on a new sculpture based on the character of Pinocchio.. , a marionette that must earn the right to become a real boy by proving to be truthful, brave and selfless.
(The attached image is not the new sculpture.. I will show you soon!)
Summer memories of my 13 meter (42 ft) tall sculpture on the museum square in Amsterdam 🙌🏻 ☀️ we are working on the next location now after china.. any ideas 💡?

What a blessing to have @louisklibansky as a brother.. we are fortunate enough to travel the world together.. following us on instagram and seeing how fast everything goes, you might think we take things for granted.. but trust me when I say we count our blessings on a daily basis 🙏🏻❤️ x
There is so much video footage of my exhibition in China I haven’t shown you yet.. I keep finding cool shots I took with my phone 📱 here you can see a space we covered with 400m2 of my art wallpaper and flooring to create the feeling of walking inside one of my thought paintings! .

Although the clubs will not open this year.. Ibiza is still an amazing island to relax and have some quality time with family and friends.
Our buddies from @ibizaestates have the most amazing villa’s to rent .. just a little shoutout to get them going after this crazy lockdown period 🙌🏻. See you on the beach 🏝 x
This sculpture called “Beautiful Tomorrow” has a special story for me.
It was the first sculpture I ever created on paper.. but I never could make it.
At the beginning of my career I didn’t have the knowledge and studio equipment I have now.. so like most other artist I went to work with a “professional” art foundry to do the bronze work.
After spending all the money I had saved on making this piece, the result was so disappointing that I put the sculpture in a box and never really showed it to people because it was not my quality standard and vision.
Now.. 10 years later we can make this piece in my own studio to perfection.. this makes me proud and is a barometer how far we have come 🙏🏼 thanks dad for spending these 10 years figuring out this crazy process ❤️

Everybody seems to like the special gold paint I created for my “ Thought Painting” series.
It has a certain reflective property to it that feels really close to real gold leaf 🍂
Super nice as a base to later splash on with a pastel pink or blue! Should I post more studio video’s? 🏹

It is good to be back on the road again!
Traveling through different countries and seeing the happy and welcoming faces of small restaurant owners receiving their first guests again after a crazy lockdown period..
Anyone got travel plans coming up? Today we drive the amazing “stelvio pass”. Check it out on google!
Here you can see my large bronze sculpture “the thinker” during the production process.
It is not yet sitting on it’s bronze rock, that part is still under construction 🔨
Creating and placing a large public sculpture, always has a magical feeling.
Just the thought that thousands or even millions of people will see it.. that is actually the dream of most artist.. getting your work seen.

Thank you for all the birthday wishes!

Back in 2017 I thought of a concept to make drawings with a massive industrial robot arm holding a regular pen 🖊
We experimented with this for quite some time until we had to use the robot arm for a new project.
Looking back I feel that It would have been an amazing impact using this technology developed for heavy industrial purpose in such a delicate way.. there is something poetic about this “beauty and the beast” performance.. maybe I should still just do it
