Although the clubs will not open this year.. Ibiza is still an amazing island to relax and have some quality time with family and friends.Our buddies from @ibizaestates have the most amazing villa’s to rent .. just a little shoutout to get them going after this crazy lockdown period 🙌🏻. This sculpture called “Beautiful Tomorrow” has a special story for me.It was the first sculpture I ever created on paper.. but I never could make it.At the beginning of my career I didn’t have the knowledge and studio equipment I have now.. so like most other artist I went to work with a “professional” art foundry to do the bronze work.After spending all the money I had saved on making this piece, the result was so disappointing that I put the sculpture in a box and never really showed it to people because it was not my quality standard and vision.Now.. 10 years later we can make this piece in my own studio to perfection.. this makes me proud and is a barometer how far we have come 🙏🏼 thanks dad for spending these 10 years figuring out this crazy process ❤️..#sculpture #art #contemporaryart #josephklibansky #artcontemporain

Everybody seems to like the special gold paint I created for my “ Thought Painting” series. It has a certain reflective property to it that feels really close to real gold leaf 🍂 Super nice as a base to later splash on with a pastel pink or blue! Back in 2017 I thought of a concept to make drawings with a massive industrial robot arm holding a regular pen 🖊 We experimented with this for quite some time until we had to use the robot arm for a new project.Looking back I feel that It would have been an amazing impact using this technology developed for heavy industrial purpose in such a delicate way.. there is something poetic about this “beauty and the beast” performance.. maybe I should still just do it
