I often get the question.. “What is that golden coating you use to get it so shiny?”
The answer is.. it’s not a coating or a form of metal plating, we grind , weld and polish the raw bronze until the sculpture has a near perfect shine and reflection.
It’s truly an extremely difficult and lengthy process.. that’s why you rarely see it used to this level of reflection
It’s also very hard to determine when a sculpture is done.. sometimes you think you are nearly there and then something pop’s up and you have to start drilling and welding again.. but once the artwork is done ✔️ it’s really breathtaking
