Here you can see a part of the bronze casting process we do in my art studio on a daily basis.
We have casted the bronze into a ceramic shell that is packed in sand.
Then we let it cool down a bit before removing it.. once it is cool enough we can remove the crusty ceramic shell with a large hammer to expose the bronze and see if the casting worked out.
Getting to this point takes about 2 months.
After this process we can start cleaning, welding , grinding and polishing the bronze part to later assemble all the parts into one sculpture.
This will take another 4 months for a polished sculpture.
